Sydney's North Shore conatins some of the oldest residential areas in the city, and these homeowners wanted an ensuite that was as timeless as the streets their home is built on.
"This space is the primary ensuite. It was a space that was to be classic and never date. As a result, the color palette was kept to soft tones of grays and crisp whites, paired with the stunning lantern marble floor," explains designer Becc Burgmann.
"I love that this room is soft, feminine and classic. It’s a soothing space that makes you feel relaxed as soon as you step into it," adds Burgmann.
The design, whilst Hamptons in that it needed a classic and timeless feel, it’s also somewhat provincial too as a result of the classic style tapware.
"The wallpaper is a stunning Ralph Lauren print, but with the beveled gloss tiles and trim, it almost gives a hint of a feminine English feel. The design though was more seeing pieces ie the wallpaper I loved and pairing it with tones that all complimented each other."
"My favourite part of the room would be the wallpaper – it’s so elegent," adds Burgmann.
