“It all started with the fabric,” explains Nancy Lupo, the designer behind this beautiful Dix Hills, New York, living space. “A beautiful embroidered fabric with black, hints of gold. So elegant and opulent, but mixed with a touch of linen to balance it out,” adds the designer.

When it comes to the furniture Lupo says: “The furnishings just fit right into the scheme and function of the space. It was as if this room always existed and belonged in this home. Marshmallow poufs add whimsy and live perfectly under the coffee table.”

The furnishings just fit right into the scheme and function of the space. It was as if this room always existed and belonged in this home.
